Meanwhile, Alejandra confides in her friend Stacy during a Pilates session, revealing that she has considered drastic measures like memory erasure to escape the oppressive weight of predestination. Stacy reassures her, mentioning that quantum physicist Quinn believes everything is meant to work out for her and Scott, but Alejandra is unnerved by this certainty.

Later, Scott and Alejandra meet for dinner, where Scott shares his discovery about the Helsinki scientist.
